Equipment Auditions
We carry demo pieces in our shop for audition including various speakers, amps, preamps, CD players, cables, etc. If there is a certain piece we do not currently have in-store for demo purposes, but that you desire to audition, please let us know. We may be able to bring it into the shop for you. Bring your favorite music (CDs, iPods and vinyl LPs), or pick from our wide selection to use in the audition.
Our demo pieces are arranged in four unique listening rooms that have been organized and decorated to simulate a relaxed living room atmosphere. We invite you to sit back and truly enjoy the sound for as little or as much time as you have to spare.
Products
We offer a large variety of products and brands and oftentimes offer sales on certain demo pieces. See our products page for specific brands and pieces of equipment. Gateway Sound may also accept your trade-ins!
In addition to equipment, we carry a large variety of CDs and SACDs available for purchase.
Repair
Mr. Earl Kim is a veteran audio repairman, well-versed in the repair of many types of CD players, speakers, amplifiers, pre-amps, turntables, all tube gear and more. Please call ahead of time and speak with Mr. Kim to ensure he can provide the repair you need for your piece. All repairs are done on-site in our shop, Monday-Friday.
